T O P I C R E V I E Wgirlwiththerainysoulso heavy and intenseit makes me uncomfortable when I'm close to them and it's quiet and I can clearly hear them breathe it's like something's stuck in their nostrilswhy is that? I mean do they physically find it hard to breathe?I notice they tend to hold their breath a lot tooRandallBump!arcturus90I've never really noticed this. My father breaths loudly and maybe intensely, sometimes and he's got his Sun in aspect to his Pluto (square), maybe that's for this reason... Pluto, Scorpio... But I don't really remember my Grandfather's breath (he's Scorpio)... LalafortunaeaCome to think of it - now that you mention, many scorps I've known DO/DID breath quite heavily!!!And you reminded me of something I learned. Hawaiians consider non hawaiians, or white people "haole", which translates to "breathless". To them, having breath means being soulful. Anyway, it is according to Hawaiians I know. They mentioned breathing heavily, or making "h" sounds meant the person was spirited. Thinking of it, plus many of the people I've met from countries where saying "H" wasn't common, it seems to ring true. People who don't use H in their language always seem more disconnected in some way. That's just my own subjective experience though. There's also the fact that breathing heavily stimulates nerves and encourages more brain activity. Hence meditative practices and breathing exercises. ReadingTheStars95Well being as Scorpio (at least in my opinion) generally try not to reveal their emotions, it could just be kind of a byproduct of the fact they’re keeping all kinds of stuff inside. I feel like one of the biggest things in learning to deal with my emotions was learning to be conscious of my breathing. While I’m not always able to be perfect about it, or while it may not do everything.. breathing can definitely have an impact on the emotions, if directed correctly. It could just be that some of them are aware of that and try to use that as a means since they don’t really let things out in any other way..? Idk. I worded that weird and probably overthought it.I guess maybe what I’m trying to say, rather than it being simply because they’re anxious, or feel out of control, it could just be them trying to keep themselves in check..? I have a lot more I could add to that, and a few other perspectives to it as well.. but I’ll leave it at that for now and see what other’s thoughts are on that first part.I will leave a quick example though.. It may not seem that they have a reason to be angry given the present moment.. or that maybe outside of their breathing they seem calm.. but Scorpio being the sign it is, they very well actually could be really upset or angry about something totally unrelated to the present moment, and that could show through their breathing. But, Scorpio, if it’s a strong Scorpio energy, is probably not going to just take out their anger or upset on someone they feel is undeserving, unless they’ve gotten to a point of no return. xDarcturus90"Well being as Scorpio (at least in my opinion) generally try not to reveal their emotions, it could just be kind of a byproduct of the fact they’re keeping all kinds of stuff inside.
